About Us

High Plains Fair Housing Center promotes equal access to housing by providing education, outreach, technical assistance, and enforcement specifically related to federal and state fair housing laws. These laws protect against illegal housing discrimination based on prohibited categories in any housing transaction and, in fact, almost any housing situation. High Plains Fair Housing Center contributes to the enforcement of current fair housing laws, provides education to the public about their fair housing rights, and reaches out to the housing industry to build the kinds of alliances that will help ensure that every resident of this nation is afforded the opportunity to live where they choose.
